The health care crisis in the U.S. is quite well-known. But, the crisis hits creators, many of whom are independent workers, even harder. As an independent worker, it is virtually impossible to obtain affordable, comprehensive health care coverage. As well, independent creators often do not possess any disability insurance or pension coverage.

The Federation has begun work to assemble a nationwide, affordable benefit package for creators.
